What this extension does
The Path to Panama Property Saver extension lets you save property listings from any website to your Path to Panama account by clicking a toolbar button.
Data collected
By the extension itself: The extension reads the URL and page title of the active browser tab when you click the Save button. No other browsing data is collected, stored locally, or transmitted by the extension.
By pathtopanama.com: When you save a listing, the URL is sent to pathtopanama.com. Path to Panama fetches the listing page to extract property details (title, price, location, images, description) and runs an AI analysis. This data is stored in your Path to Panama account and governed by this privacy policy.
Data not collected
- No browsing history
- No data from pages you do not explicitly choose to save
- No personal information beyond what is in your Path to Panama account
Permissions used
- activeTab / tabs: Read the URL and title of the current tab when you click Save. Not used for passive browsing monitoring.
- windows: Open a small Path to Panama popup window to complete the save.
- host_permissions (pathtopanama.com): Communicate with your Path to Panama account to save the listing.
Authentication
You must be logged in to pathtopanama.com to use this extension. The extension uses your existing browser session (cookies) on pathtopanama.com — no separate credentials are stored by the extension.
Affiliate links
Path to Panama and Río may include links to third-party travel and booking sites (for example flight search via Aviasales and hotels via Booking.com).
